Yes! The devs are still putting out updates that are entirely free! Like recently they’ve added new types of buildings and NPC ran stuff for your settlements, overhauled the planet Gen, added new planet types, overhauled the rendering engine, completely redid the ocean biomes so now there’s animals and plants and biomes all under water.

Hello Games may have launched a really bad game, but they have cemented themselves as my favorite game company because they just straight up admitted they messed up, and then have been grinding away at making the game better and better and better for the last 9 years (which side note, holy crap it’s been 9 years. Ugh I’m feeling old now)

Arguing what you believe in is not what “arguing in good faith” actually means. If you’re arguing in good faith it means you aren’t using any logical fallacies, insults, and are genuinely attempting to have an actual conversation. It has nothing to do with how good of a debater you are, or how valid your argument is.

So you’re Florida man could absolutely be arguing in good faith about the beehives in the center of the earth even though that’s very easy to disprove, while someone arguing for gar rights can arguing in bad faith when they start saying things like “every single Republican is a Nazi” (strawman argument) even though it’s objectively a good thing.

For #6, I don’t think we necessarily have to move away from the idea that being a man means being a provider and a protector. At least to me those are some of the core tenants of being a man.

The person above you mentioned the men in Avatar the last Airbender. But I also want to add in the men in LOTR, Gomez Adams, Ted Lasso, Kratos in the newer god of war games, and Steve Rodgers.

These are men who are caring, loving, emotional and they are (mostly) able to show those emotions, capable of growth, and able to admit when they are wrong. But they are still men. Men who struggle with anger, men go to war and protect their families, men who are incredibly strong in the face of struggle, men who sometimes make “inappropriate” (to the left) jokes, and men who strive for nothing else but bettering the lives of those in their care.

I sometimes hate that what counts as “positive masculinity” is really just feminity but dressed up in a blue bow. Men are not women and telling them that they can’t be super competitive, can’t be angry, and can’t fail is just setting them up to fall into toxic masculinity. This might just be me talking about the culture I was raised in but those things aren’t necessarily a bad thing, and erasing what a “man” has been for generations isn’t going to win you any extra fans.

Like for me, the nearest “big town” is about 100 miles from me, which is about a 2hr drive. And, at least from some quick googling, it looks like most commuter rail in France tops out at about 100mph. A train would not bring in more people haha

Yes, you’re right, we shouldn’t be advertising that crap to children. But I would like to buy a car with an actual color painted on it, or have a house with actual character, or pay for services that actually work because at least someone behind the scenes actually cares. Statistically, you should be doing more exercises in general.

But working out absolutely does improve sleep, as well as mood, digestion, memory recall, anxiety, and basically every other common ailment.

Please go work out more. Even if its just a walk or some crunches. Just get 15-30 minutes per day of continuous exercise. I promise you you’ll see a difference

4k is absolutely an upgrade over 1440p. I have two of them (an LCD and an OLED) and I absolutely love them in every game I play. I will admit that I’m in the super minority and because of my work history I’ve spent a lot of time looking at a lot of displays so I’m more sensitive to various artifacts than the normal person. And in games I always prefer looks over resolution, it needs to drop down to like 40fps or lower for me to start changing settings.

Basically, it was worth it for me but probably won’t be for you. OLED is a significantly actual upgrade. You should get an OLED it’ll change your life.

Which would be easier if you were a dev making your own game than if you were making a mod for an existing one no?
